Collier County, FL — The standoff involving a woman inside a condo on Willowbrook Drive in Pelican Bay is now over. Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies had been attempting to make contact with the subject but she refused to come out of the home.

Deputies confirmed earlier this afternoon that they responded to a “suspicious incident” on Willowbrook Drive in Pelican Bay.
At least a dozen patrol cars were located at the entrance to the Willow Brook neighborhood off Green Tree Drive.
The female subject, Evelyn Espino, according to her Facebook profile, was live streaming as the SWAT team entered the home. They then successfully took her into custody.
There are no further details available at this time.
