4:15 PM — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirms the fire is now 100% contained.
20 buckets of water were dropped on the fire that evacuated some homes in the area.
Both 4th Ave NE and 6th Ave NE have reopened.
No injuries or damages to homes have been reported.

Collier County, FL — Multiple agencies are responding to a brush fire that is burning between 4th Ave NE and 6th Ave NE just east of Everglades Blvd N in Golden Gate Estates.
North Collier Fire and Greater Naples Fire crews responded to the incident at 1:30 PM Tuesday afternoon.
A Collier County Sheriff’s Office helicopter arrived in the area at about 2:20 PM and is now dropping water on the fire.
The Florida Forest Service is assisting with tractors on the ground with containment lines.
6th Ave NE and 4th Ave NE are blocked east of Everglades Boulevard N.
The fire’s exact acreage and containment is unknown at this time.
