Lee County, FL — A motorcyclist has died after colliding with at least one other vehicle on Santa Barbara Boulevard just south of SE 2nd Street in Cape Coral.

Cape Coral Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 6:28 PM Tuesday evening.



The male motorcyclist came to rest on the median and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:32 PM.

This is the third fatal motorcycle crash in Lee County in less than 48 hours.

All lanes of Santa Barbara Blvd are shut down between Mid Cape Ter and Hancock Bridge Pkwy.

The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating.
