Collier County, FL — Fire crews are working to contain a brush fire that has scorched 200 acres near 3000 SR-29 in Immokalee.
Immokalee Fire crews responded to the incident at 3:40 PM Tuesday afternoon.
Greater Naples Fire, North Collier Fire, and Florida Forest Service crews are on-scene assisting.
Multiple pieces of farming equipment were damaged by the flames.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office Air Rescue helicopter is also assisting with air drops.
The fire is now 50% contained.
