Deputies have confirmed the death of a person found in a lake near Lely Resort has been determined to not be suspicious in nature.
They also confirmed the victim has not yet been identified due to animal activity in the water.

Collier County, FL — Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies confirm a death investigation is underway after a body was found floating in a lake at the entrance to Lely Resort at 12115 Tamiami Trail E in Naples.
Deputies responded to the scene at 1:54 PM Saturday afternoon.
Deputies say the body was seen floating about 40 feet from the shore.
A dive team is responding to the incident.
This is a developing story.
