Collier County, FL — Five people have been injured, three seriously, after a two vehicle accident left an SUV on its side at Golden Gate Parkway and Livingston Road in Naples.
Greater Naples Fire, North Collier Fire and Collier County EMS crews responded to the incident at 10:40 PM Saturday night.
A Level 1 MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) was declared due to the number of patients involved.
Three occupants sustained injuries meeting “Trauma Alert” criteria. Two occupants were transported by MedFlight to Gulf Coast Medical Center. The third occupant has been transported to a local hospital.
Two additional occupants sustained minor injuries and have been transported to a local hospital.
Westbound Golden Gate Parkway and southbound Livingston Road are completely shutdown.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
