Lee County, FL — A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after crashing into an SUV at S Tamiami Trail and Constitution Boulevard in south Fort Myers.
San Carlos Park Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 2:52 PM Saturday afternoon.
An approximately 50-year-old male riding the motorcycle sustained serious injuries meeting "Trauma Alert" criteria and was transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
Two southbound lanes of US-41 are currently shut down.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
