Lee County, FL — Six people have been injured after a multi-vehicle crash at NE Pine Island Road and Hancock Creek South Boulevard in Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 5:12 PM Saturday afternoon.
A Level 1 Mass Casualty Incident was declared due to the number of patients involved.
Nine people were reportedly involved in the crash, but six were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Westbound lanes were partially blocked but have since reopened.
The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating.
